Week 11 this week! Our theme was Cooking/Baking this past week. Scarlett always loves getting in the kitchen and helping make things so we enjoyed the theme a lot!

2018-2019 Winter Term Week 10
Week 10, what a week! We had loads of things going on this week along with all the normal stuff. It was Scarlett’s birthday, we had a memorial service for my grandma, lots of family visits, traveling, work, and school on top of that. We did our best to get everything done for the week early because most of our plans were towards the end of the week. We didn’t get to everything but I’d say we didn’t do too bad. 🙂

If you know much about me you’ll know I’ve got a thing with bugs. I am one of those “Is it on me?! Get it off me!! AHHHHH!” types even with the least harmful of bugs. I have tried to get better since having kids since I don’t really want my girls to think there is a reason to freak over them but I’m still a work in progress!

I just can’t believe we are less than a month away from the term ending! Last week’s theme (Week 8!) was manners/emotions. It was a great week of learning for Scarlett and I. I feel like she is just starting to understand her emotions and I felt like we both benefited from this theme. She got to tell me how some things make her feel and I was able to teach her appropriate ways to express them to others.
