If your house is anything like mine we’ve got a lot of football going on this time of year. And with football comes lots of what I like to call “football food.” That just means finger foods/appetizers. We often have people over to the house to watch games and it’s kinda fun to make a bunch of finger foods and enjoy the game together.
Today’s recipe is cheesy killer bread. I’m not really sure why it’s called that but I learned of it when I was a teenager and thought it was amazing. I like making it from time to time for football parties and it’s also great with a bowl of chicken noodle soup or potato soup (that’s what I served it with this time around).
You start off with a loaf of french bread. I made some homemade but store bought works just as well. You slice it in half lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet then set it aside. Grab a bowl and mix all of the remaining ingredients together.
Next, you just spread half of the mixture on one half of the bread then spread the remaining mixture on the other half.
Place the bread in the oven and bake until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
Slice the bread into individual pieces and serve it up! I had an eager taste tester. 🙂
