Week 3 was really fun with our family/friends theme. Anything that focuses on family is a win in my book though. 🙂 Along with our assignments I made sure to mention different relationships as they came up in conversation during the week just to add a little more theme related material.

Teddy Bears in the Apple Orchard
We are in another cold spell in our neck of the woods and so we just had to have a nice warm dessert to enjoy! Today’s recipe is one of my husband’s childhood favorites and a go-to for cold weather desserts.
…2018-2019 Winter Term Week 2
Our theme for the week was Snow/Winter. We don’t have snow in our area very often and when we do it’s pretty light, but it did get pretty darn cold last week so at least that was on theme. 🙂

If your house is anything like mine we’ve got a lot of football going on this time of year. And with football comes lots of what I like to call “football food.” That just means finger foods/appetizers. We often have people over to the house to watch games and it’s kinda fun to make a bunch of finger foods and enjoy the game together.
…2018-2019 Winter Term Week 1
I just couldn’t wait to get back to our weekly homeschool review. Vacation was great and I wouldn’t have wanted to go without it but I have been so excited to get back to school. I feel like the kids are in better moods which means I am in a better mood which makes it a great day! 😀

I am finally back in the kitchen! Okay, so I’m always in the kitchen but I feel like I haven’t posted a recipe in so long. We had Christmas break, we did a road trip to California, we saw friends and family… It was great BUT I totally miss sharing my recipes and homeschool stuff. So I’M BACK!
