Homemade Coffee Creamer

A while back I posted a tutorial on how I make cold brew coffee. I was just starting to drink coffee a few times a week. Well now I don’t go more than a day without a cup. It is just so delicious and it also helps me get through the afternoon when I’m starting to feel like I want a nap but I can’t nap because nap time is when I can actually get things done!

Most days I just put a bit of heavy cream in my coffee and call it good but sometimes I like just a little something more. I came up with this homemade coffee creamer recipe for the days I want to treat myself to something a little sweet. Now if you’ve been around the blog for any amount of time you know I try to avoid sugar so these creamers do not have any white sugar in them. I sweeten them with a combination of stevia and maple syrup. So they aren’t terrible for you and it still feels like a treat.

You start out with some hot water in a jar. Add in your stevia and stir until it is dissolved. Then add the cream and maple syrup, put a lid on the jar, and shake it all up. That is it! I tried a couple different variations with this recipe and I posted the recipes down below.
